the floor

when a wallet sells, the cells it can no longer cover fall off the body in order from its farthest cell inward. they land on the floor under the creature in the order they fell, and they wait. the marrow pays for them oldest first. a trader buying from the pool also takes from the floor, lowest cell first. a cell leaves the floor one of those two ways and no other way.
